A thangka is a traditional Tibetan Buddhist scroll painting depicting deities, mandalas, and sacred scenes. Used for centuries as objects of meditation, teaching, and devotion, thangkas are one of the most refined art forms in the Buddhist world.
At Dakini Goods, every thangka in our collection is hand-painted by master artisans trained in classical Tibetan techniques. We use traditional stone-ground mineral pigments and genuine 24K gold — the same materials and methods used for over a thousand years. Our thangkas are not mass-produced prints; each is an original work of sacred art.
