Je Tsongkapa Thangka

This exquisite hand-painted Tibetan thangka features Je Tsongkhapa, the  founder of the Geluk school of Tibetan Buddhism, flanked by his two principal disciples, Kedrup Je and Gyaltsab Je. This central trio represents the heart of the Geluk lineage and the complete path of Sutra and Tantra.

Je Tsongkhapa is  depicted in the center, adorned with his distinctive yellow pandit's hat, and lotuses that support a sword of wisdom and the Prajnaparamita Sutra. Flanking him are Khedrup Je and Gyaltsab Je, embodying the lineage's profound attainments in scholarship and meditation.

This thangka is a testament to the masterful artistry of Nepal's Kathmandu Valley. Meticulously hand-painted on premium cotton canvas, it utilizes vibrant natural mineral pigments and is richly accented with genuine 24K gold. This Je Tsongkapa thangka inspires profound wisdom, rigorous practice, and a deep connection to the Gelukpa lineage.
